They were all great but I wouldn't have thought the Chain would have come ahead of Rhiannon because it's just such a nice blending of all of them and one of the best FM songs.

That said, Rhiannon is excellent enough that it's hardly a surprise that is might win and it's pretty deserving of a victory.

Goddamnit I signed in way too late to vote. This is absolute ****e. How can the album version of Rhiannon possibly be called FM's greatest song. Not even close.:mad::confused::mad::rolleyes:

Why not? :confused: Its always been my favourite FM song and the song that got me into FM in the first place when I heard it on the radio.

Its one of those point of view things.... ;)

It's a good song like, but the lyrical content isn't really deserving of the title of their best song, no matter how good it is musically. Something people could relate to like GYOW or The Chain (basically the entirety of Rumours really) should have won instead.That's the Mac I like.

Then again lyrically Fleetwood Mac are generally pretty light on, especially Rumours era onwards. Not exactly Dylan. ;)
