Cafe music.
 

So I go to this internet cafe regularly here in SF and they play pretty decent music. They are all prerecored tracks ofcourse. Well this one tape has Rhianon on it and twice today when it came back to that song the barista skipped to the next song.

GRRRRR!! Sorry just had to rant.

Yeah, what is up with that? I would be like "HEY, don't skip over Rhiannon!"
That is perfect music to be listening to in an internet cafe.

Well, it sounds like it played once. They just skipped over it the second time around!

What neighborhood? The answer could help to explain it ;)

It is a very mixed area of SF. There are 20 somethings - 60 somethings but most of the baristas are in their 20s.

The thing is that is the only song they skipped and twice so someone obviouosly really doesn't like it.

Oh, I didn't understand that they skipped it twice. I thought they let it play once and then when it was coming on the second time they skipped it. Ha! The unbridled nerve.

I hate it when I am in the drug store and an FM song is playing and then they interrupt to make an announcement like, "Susan, please come to the front desk." I get really mad and feel like telling them not to even play music if they're going to break into it for inane store business. Who do they think they are!

LOL. I thought I was the only one who noticed that. Wallgreens does it on Thrown Down and I am like ok hurry up with your stupid announcement.
