When I listen to the instruments on that one, I do not hear Fleetwood Mac. I hear "Stevie's friends." But Stevie's vocal sounds circa 1976.

The song was released on the 1998 Practical Magic Soundtrack along with Stevie's lead vocal version of Crystal. Great movie btw and even better soundtrack!

But it first appeared on Louise Goffin's 1981 album.

The ending of the song (baby don't leave me - I'm down on my knees, beggin' you to please) was written before Rumours. Moreover, the arrangement was used as an alt. ending for GDW.

As for the "You've left me now and its seasoned my soul" - who knows. But, I think itis likely it was Rumours era or before.
