DAMN IT! My computer says it cann not play these due to
" A license is required to play this file The file you are trying to play was ripped (copied) from an audio CD. During the ripping process, the file was "protected." This limits the number of computers on which the file can be played. To play the file on this computer, you must download a license (a process known as "license migration"). Yeah, exactly the same for me and I have told Jackie so I hope she can do something...?...I really want to hear the songs but it's very sad that it doesn't work on all computers...?...Does anyone else know how you can make them "unlocked"???

Hi,
That happened to me and i downloaded the license by clicking on the link they show. After you do that you will be able to save and play the files. You'll see it when you try to download the songs. Hope this helps. |
I want to appologize to everyone who tried to upload these songs. I honestly thought they would work, but unfortunatley they did not. I will try again, this time on mediafire. Though, I did have problems with mediafire before. I don't know if it's because they are karaoke cds, or what, but I will try to do my best for all of you. Once again, I say that I am sorry. I don't understand what this "license thing is all about ", or this copy right thing. What I did was, since I don't have an mp3 player, I copied the songs to my hard drive, then uploaded them onto sendspace, thinking that that would work, but when I hear disapointment in your voices, I feel terrible that it didn't work for any of you. I am sorry this didn't work out. But I will try to fix it. :distress: I just don't know why it didn't work.

Thank you for your work with uploading all of these... Unfortunately, they didnt work for me :( hope you'll be able to up them onto mediafire, or maybe try zshare? Anyways- Thanks again.

Downloading the licence worked for me. I don't know why other people are having problems. BellaGypsy79, I'm not sure that this is an issue with the service you used to upload them. I suspect that it will require downloading a licence no matter what service you use. Did you use Windows Media Player to copy the CD's? When you go to Tools==>Options, there is a "Copy Music" tab. Is the "Copy protect music" box checked? Maybe if you uncheck that box before copying the CD, it won't cause that problem. I don't know. I wouldn't want you to have to upload all these songs again |
Here is my own contribution. The link is to a folder with multiple songs in it. It has Sara and Gypsy in it, but they are different than the ones above.
