I'm voting for WLT this round...I love the rest of the songs on the list....not easy....the demo for WLT is better....:shrug:

Am I the only one who wasn't too crazy about "Rooms On Fire" -- in fact, it's probably my least favorite off that album. Granted, OSOTM is an amazing album.

Eh, Rooms on Fire doesn't have the dark brooding quality that's core to so much of this album. It doesn't get me as much as the others, so I voted for it too.

I wanted Ooh My Love to win... Now I'm just really not sure. But Rooms gets mine today.

See, what draws me in is its dark, brooding core. The yearning, the "maybe I'm just thinking" build. Then, the dip, the way her voice gets husky and a little lower for the "rooms are on fire" part. It's desire and loss and maybe an Alice in Wonderland fantasy that never really happened (clouded memory), all wrapped up in one song.

I voted WLT, and if it goes like it looks like it will, we'll be left with my 3 favorite songs from this album. And I have to agree that I find Rooms on Fire to be dark and brooding.

Whole Lotta Trouble = yuck, yuck, yuck to me. Shudder, I pray I never have to hear it or it's horns again. Too bad "When I want something, I get it" only surfaced in this turkey, instead of a studio-perfect release of 'I Call You Missing'.

Personally...

I dont get why everybody likes Long Way to Go so much. I have been voting for it since day one of this poll. I LOVE Ooh my Love. I think it and Juliet are the best songs on the album...but I guess I am not in the majority.
