ipod question

I was just on my itunes store and they have a game called The Sims DJ, and the sims actually dance to the music on your ipod! It says it's compatible with 3rd, 4th, 5th, generation and ipod classic. Mine is a Nano 4GB I got it in 2006. I don't thinks it's compatible, does anybody know if they still make games for my type of ipod or can I download updates for it??? I am so stupid when it comes to stuff like this! :o
