Tusk Face Off: Round 7
 

Brown Eyes has been voted off! It's now time to do a face off of side 2 of Tusk to get 5 from each side!



Rules changed up a bit:

I can only put 10 options in a poll so we are going to do the first 10 songs off Tusk first, till we get 5. Then we will do the same with the second side of tusk till we get 5 songs. Then those five songs will face off with eachother in one poll where the last one standing wins!


Vote for your LEAST favorite song from this album. I'll start a new poll within 24 hours with the next round. At the end we will have a winner, and move on to the next album. This is just for the rumours like up (hence being in the rumours section) so we will only be doing albums with all 5 members present (mick, john, christine, stevie, lindsey) I'm not sure if we should do live albums yet (Fleetwood Mac Live, The Dance) or keep it with just studio albums. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there. If you have any suggestions, feel free to PM me.

I just gotta say, I'm shocked to see Brown Eyes gone! Over and Over and Brown Eyes are my 2 favorite Christine songs on this album and they both got kicked off the first round.

I too am shocked at the lack of love for Brown Eyes. I adore that track. There's nothing quite like it.

And now it looks like NMMC is up for the chop! Woe.

Still Honey Hi for me... Never been keen on it.

I voted for Never Forget, although I should have voted for Walk a Thin Line...
Anyways, we should keep at least Never Make Me Cry around, it's so pretty :nod:

I think Never Forget is sultry. I like it and the Honey Hi drum beats and simple vocal . . . I think that would be a great piece for Christine and Mick in concert. Think About Me is my favorite of hers on the album, but those 2 are next.

Browns Eyes is one of my favorite FM songs ever... Sad to see it go... but superb songs aren't always popular... More people love Britney than Christine... so I can live with that..

I know it sucks, In the Stevie form her two most popular songs won the showdowns so far, and of course Rhiannon wins the White album, and Chain won Rumours.

It seems like people WANT the popular songs to win.
I want Angel and Honey Hi final two. [since Brown Eyes got voted off]
But I stick with my early predictions on this sides final 5...besides Brown Eyes.

Yeah, but as much as I love the avant grade stuff (I'm an Animal Collective fan so the freaky stuff appeals to me more) I still love Down On Rodeo. I'd have loved a weirder song it win it but if a "normal" song had to win it then I'm glad it was DOR.
