Bella Donna Face Off:Round 3
 

Ok..So since the Album Cover Face Off was a pretty good hit amoung a lot of people. I got a lot of PMs saying how much they liked it and how I should do others...So I thought I'd do this.

My thoughts for this face off would be...we would do a face off for every album and at the very end we would have an "ULTIMATE Stevie Song Face Off" of the winners from each album...Good idea?!?! Well I liked it

So we will start off with Bella Donna since its Stevie's first solo album. We will vote for our LEAST favorite song off of this album til we are down to the winner.

Round 3 will end Thursday(Sept. 19) @ 4pm

I voted for Bella Donna. Sometimes when I listen to it it seems a little long winded. I like it, just not as much as the others.

I'm changing my vote to Leather and Lace from my previous ATGF, to be more strategic and keep SDMHA in.

Hmm we all know that Edge is gonna be the last song standing..it's pretty much the crowning work of her solo career if not her entire career.

Well I don't know, after Stevie's great live performances of HSML, it could make it to the end. EO17 keeps getting a vote or so a round.... so it may leave eventually......

I say HSML all the way..... or something like that.:nod:

I really can't believe that Leather and Lace is being kicked off this soon. Although the song doesn't have the same appeal for me now, when that album came out, I thought that song so spectacular. It was one of those things where, if it came on in the car as you arrived home, you'd have to sit in the driveway until the song finished.

Also, the imagery in the lyrics . . . I think it's as poignant a way of describing the dynamics of a relationship as I've heard.

L & L was always the one dull, plodding spot on that otherwise great album. I even remember being a little boy and hearing it on the radio for the first time and my brother saying "oh, this is Stevie Nicks solo now, with the Eagles guy!" and I was like "meh..!"

But, I think it's going to be a real challenge for me to have to chose other cuts off the island. Like Sophie's Choice.

It looks like L&L will be voted off and it’s only round 3. :distress:

I don’t know what the lot of you are thinking. Leather and Lace is to BD what “Landslide” is to the white FM album. Shame shame on all of you :p
