TOTALLY random, but I am LOVING this 80 hours of 80's that VH-1 Classic is showing over the weekend. I was watching one video, and it was Hungry Eyes, by Eric Carmen I think, and this model chick in the video was wearing this outfit that was TOTALLY Stevie's Tango era outfit. The black dress w/ the gold leaf type design up the front. Then @ another point in the video, she is wearing a bustier type thing w/ these shoulder strap that fall a bit below the shoulder much like her outfit RAL era. I just wonder if these items were Stevie's or came to be Stevies. For as many things as she has designed for her, she must also come across stuff in costume depts. I would think...dunno. Just a quick shot, but I swear I am right....must find it on YouTube to re-test the theory, but then I'd have to endure that song again.

Thanks for posting this.
Personally I am a bigger fan of the bigger, flowier, more stylistic clothing. Don't know why, but I just am. |

I really don't think those items belonged to her at all. I don't recognize any of them, and if they did belong to her wouldn't they have her consent to put them up for auction, or to have some of the proceeds go to charity or something? This just doesn't sound and look right to me at all. But this is just my opinion, but I feel in someways that it's a fact too. Sorry, but they were interesting pics to look at though. |
