Twisted with LB

Does anyone have the version of Twisted with Stevie and Lindsey? Thanks! :D

Hi,
you can download the version from my hp under the section MP3.
Enjoy!

Thank you! I love your site! :wavey:

I have it on that Best Buy Fleetwood Mac promo cd...would you be interested?

I love that, thanks for posting!!!!! :D
Lindsey's voice is so deep in this.

Thank you everybody. I didn't even know this version existed.

I was listening to my alphabetical playlist of songs, I started it approximately at the end of "T..." so it played Twisted with L&S and then the Twisted demo from her Enchanted box set, disc 3. I have to say I like this demo much more than the soundtrack version.

I guess Stevie did think in 1996 that Lindsey had an amazing way of taking my songs and making them wonderful (which she said in 1997) and I agree with that (also agree with the When he was happy with me  ) so she asked him to collaborate and produce the song, but I don't know what they talked about or what they decided about where to take this song. So I can't say Lindsey made a mistake this time. But definitely this demo version is more emotional and much more beautiful.

I agree I love the Enchanted version of Twister. Her voice was so clean and pure. I love the live version from that era… the intensity was epic. The good old days…..

Did Lindsey and Stevie agree to do the duet version for the soundtrack before or after the classic lineup of Fleetwood Mac had agreed to reform?

[QUOTE=cbBen;1304811] edit: Just asked Google and its AI answered: After years of separation, rumors of a reunion were confirmed in November 1996, when it was reported that Buckingham had given the go-ahead to bring the five classic members back together. (I don't know if this is reliable info, does anybody remember?).

Twister was released on may 10. So the song Twisted was recorded before. If this statement about Lindsey confirming the reunion in november '96 is true, then by the time he and Stevie recorded Twisted, the reunion was still just a project. In any case, the ideal thing would be to find a source, a news item, that formally announced the meeting.

yes. in the chris connelly interview (see on youtube) where the two of them were sliming all over each other he asks them about twisted and if that was an impetus to get the band back together again too

I often love Lindsey’s production, but in this case he took a sledgehammer to a fine piece of blown glass. The Twisted version is way overproduced; the Jesse Valenzuela guitar overdubs are all this song needed to make it perfect. Love the demo version and could listen to that outro section (“you think you hear demons”) go on all day.

I had a similar reaction to Say Goodbye. The album version of this song is like the S&L Twisted version, more focused on the production than on the feeling. But the SG live version in the 2005 Lindsey Buckingham Soundstage with Stevie the song is much more emotional, and beautiful.

Thanks for answering, but I'm still unclear as to whether you are saying the classic-lineup FM had reformed (or agreed to reform) before Lindsey and Stevie agreed to do "Twisted" together. Could you please clarify? Thanks again.
