There was a People or Us magazine inside feature on Stevie before her first solo album came out -- probably back in 1980 at some point -- & the writer asked Stevie what some of the titles of her new songs would be (the writer saying the solo album would be "touched off with fantasy-tinged titles"). The writer wrote down four titles, as follows:
"Bella Donna"
"Blue Lamp"
"A Bit of Gold"
"Braid"
So we know that for this little interview, Stevie referred to the song as "A Bit of Golden Braid." (Say out loud "A Bit of Gold" & "Braid" -- & then say "A Bit of Golden Braid." See how that happened?)
She often elongates her song titles in speech -- we've all heard her do that. I don't think it necessarily means anything official, so to speak. Let's hope she doesn't start introducing her signature song onstage as "Rhiannon, Will You Ever Win?"
(Or "Who Is the Beauty, Who Is the Beast?" -- she'd probably add the verb.)
