Oh I loved that- thanks so much for posting. Really makes me wish I had been able to make a show this tour.

Yeah, I knew she couldn't really have done that. David Duchovny did once (well, sort of) and the fall out wasn't pretty.

So, I'm glad to hear Stevie found Canada "fantastic."

WOW Sandy!! Thanks SOOOO much! You have an INCREDIBLE camera.. If I may ask, what type of camera do you have??? I've been in the market for a great camcorder/ camera with a incredible zoom like you have, and the video is SOOOO clear!! I just felt like I was in the 3rd row watching her, myself!!! :blob1:

Hugs,

Arlene

Thank you. It is a Canon Powershot S3 camera. I read tons of reviews on digital cameras and finally decided on this one. It got great reviews and positive marks on the movie taking capability to zoom while filming. There is an S5 model but more expensive without a lot of upgrades, just a newer model, so that is why I went for the S3 because it was cheaper. This type of camera is considered the top of the line of the point and shoots before entering into the SLR professional series of cameras.

Face the Promise, Friday 6/20/2008
(This is the song I got "busted" on but was a rebel and kept recording anyway, so please understand that is why there is some time where Stevie is not on the screen).

Oh, oh. She must have read my letter

I think she got alot of flack for saying what she said last year when she was here in Canada at Rama. Didn't she say something about Canadian fans or people are alot nicer or something? Maybe she was making up for that. I remember the American fans on here were pretty pissed. Can someone jog my memory.

Funny. We Canadian's feel the same way when we come back into Canada

Why was Stevie in Canada for 3 days for a 1 nite show?

Again, I'll restate what I said shortly after the first show this month, how can anyone be complaining about her soing Face the Promise. It is so asweome and so rocking, and yet still so obscure of a song, that it's literally like her doing a brand new song of hers, that just happens to be written by Bob Seger (That opinion is voided of course if you're a big Seger fan) Watching FTP her and on YouTube brings back memories of when Stevie played Fall From Grace on the blockbuster awards before TISL came out. There she was rocking her 50 year old ass off and the song was brand new, I had never heard it before, which made it even more special. Now it's just her 60 year old ass instead.

Very good post. The energy and newness of it all is fantastic. It is kind of like the replacement for I Need to Know. Just another rock song that happens to be done by a guy originally, but Stevie proves she can put her own unique stamp on it and rock out just like the guys can. Even at 60.:nod: Very good observation of Face the Promise akin to the Blockbuster FFG performance. Very rockin'.

I so wish that could have been on the Soundstage disc instead of Crash. (sigh)
oh well. That is why I tried my best to get the song on video (sorry I kind of got busted, but if everyone else around me had not have sat down, I probably would have got Stevie for the whole song). Oh well. I tried my best and is better than nothing I guess.

Anytime :D No problem, love sharing info among Stevie fans. I did take a couple of photos too, but came out a tad blurry only because that darn Stevie keeps moving around too much. : ) I will post them soon. (I only took a limited amount of actual photos because I wanted to leave room on the disc for the movies and then I can take the movies into a video capture mode in some software and create images that way too. I have to play around with the clips that I have to see what turns out.

I also have almost the entire Rhiannon and GDW as video clips and they are 1 gig each and having some technical issues with the transfer from the camera to my pc, but am waiting on a new flash card reader that can do the transfer so I should have them by the end of the week. I can't wait to see how they turned out.
