Rhiannon Film Script And Demos That I Have Never Heard Of!!

I Was Searching On The Us Copyright Website, And Just For Kicks I Searched Stevie Nicks, And Found A Huge Amount Of Material That I Have Never Come Across Before, Including Information About The Rhiannon Movie. Everyone Of Her Songs Is Copyrighted, And I Own Mostly Everyone Of Here Demos, But These Are Demos That I Have Never Come Across Or Heard:

Can't Buy
Blue Is A Valubable Word
Dreamer
Dremers Lose Others Win
Finders Keepers
Found Another Love
The Glass Blower
I Was Too Young
King And Queen Here
Lady
No Light (i Know No Light Was The Original Title Of Planets Of The Universe. However, In 1987 44 Of Her Songs Were Copyrighted, And On The Document, Planets Of The Universe Was The 28th Song On The List, And No Light Was The 29th, So I Beleive She Has Written A Song Titles No Light)

Standing Still
Takin My Time
Waltzing Through Stardom
Water Witch (this Might Be Melacine, Because In The Song She Is A Witch Who Lives By The Sea, But I Don't If Water Witch Is Melacine)
When Shall We Love
Thunder 1976
In The Darkness
Tall Man Riding
And The Days Go By (this Might Be If You Ever Did Beleive)

Now Just Some General Information That I Found Out On The Website:

~has A Painting Called Seduction Of A Man Copyrighted In 1995

~rhiannon A Stage Ballet, Created By Cathie Rice With Music By Stevie Nicks Copyrighted In 1981

~the Song Smile At You Written In 1977

~the Song Lady From The Mountain Was Written In 1972 Way Before Rhiannon

~there Are 6 Versions Of Planets Of The Universe That Were All Copyrighted

~a 143 Page Screenplay For A The Rhiannon Movie Was Written And Copyrighted In 1978. Copyrighted Under The Title, Rhiannon Dramatic Work And Music Choreography

~it Also Says That The Song Beauty And The Beast Was Written In 1982, So I Think Some Of The Demos Of That Song That Are Said To Be From The Tusk Era, May Actually Be From The Mirage Era

Stevie said she recorded a demo of it in Gordon Perry's Dallas TX recording studio when Mick's dad was dying of cancer, which was during the Mac tour of 1978.

The recording of it with Fleetwood Mac playing on it has a CP-30 on it, so that makes it 1979 or after.

Interesting stuff you found!

Angel In Waiting - might be Desert Angel?
Waltzing Through Stardom - Garbo?
Thunder - Dreams?

WELL THE ONLY REASON WHY I DON'T THINK THESE 3 SONGS ARE DESERT ANGEL, GARBO AND DREAMS IS BECAUSE, DREAMS, GARBO AND DESERT ANGEL ARE COPYRIGHTED, WITH THE DATES WHEN THEY WERE WRITTEN, AND THE DATES ON ANGELS IN WAITING, WALZTHING THROUGH STARDOM AND THUNDER ARE DIFFERENT

I was kind of thinking the same thing. Funny how she tends to use phrases over and over again.
Original song titles turn into phrases in a song.

And The Days Go By (used in Edge of 17)

I ALSO CAME ACROSS THESE SONG TITLES AS WELL:

When Love Falls Apart
So Far
What Would You Do
You're The Star
Desert Skies
Butterflies
Soul Searching
Desperation
Just Crazy Love
Endless

Sometimes you write something and have it copywritten, but then you take the original work and make changes to it and copywrite it under a new title. That's probably all it is.

What Would You Do is a circulating demo recorded by one or both of the Williams Brothers. The story goes that they wrote Some Become Strangers for Stevie, and she wrote a song for them, presumably What Would You Do. The lyrics aren't bad, but the music is pretty dated.

VIDICATED after all these years!

Also - thanks for posting these!!!

I am sure that La Nicks has and has had many projects the fan community knows nothing about. I remember when Reconsider Me came out on the box set and no one even knew it existed.

I know that on the Screen Gems master reel, Goodbye Baby/The Tower was written in as The Glass Blower, crossed out and Goodbye Baby was written in it's place.

I would have LOVED to see Stevie with the Muppets

luv,
Shel

WELL IN KNOW THAT BUBBLES AND BALLOONS, IS AN ACTUAL CIRCULATING SONG, I USED TO HAVE A VERY POOR SOUNDING COPY, SPINNING WHEELS IS THE SONG CALL CHRISTIAN OR MIRROR BALL

My guesses after being all over the demos, and the copyright site numerous times:

Arabesque - This was actually listed in a fanzine a long time ago along with Carousels (once listed on Nicksfix, but w/o lyrics).

Can Never Be Sold - Love You Enough/My Love Can Never Get Lost

Can't Buy - I Sing For The Things

Dreamer - possibly Candlebright ("I am something of a dreamer")

The Glass Blower - The Tower/Goodbye Baby (as Shel said, this was a title crossed out on one of the master reels)

I Was Too Young - I Need You (from the so-called Fritz demos)

Lady - Knocking On Doors (Fritz demos)

Takin My Time -
That's Alright

Waltzing Through Stardom - Garbo

Water Witch - Melusine

When Shall We Love - When Will We Love Again (Fritz demos)

Thunder 1976 - Dreams (was written as Thunder on a '76 or '77 setlist)

In The Darkness - Everybody Finds Out (copyright catalog shows ITD as the original title)

And The Days Go By (this Might Be If You Ever Did Beleive) - that'd be my guess

Angel In Waiting - possibly Touched By An Angel, as it came from poem titled either Angels Of Passage or Angels In Passage

Free Style With Les Dudek 1985 - released on Les' album Freestyle, though I don't think Stevie appears

~the Song Lady From The Mountain Was Written In 1972 Way Before Rhiannon - Sorcerer was also known as LFTM, so it's possible it was copyrighted under more than one name...same with a lot of her songs
