DVD Audio Question
Riddle:
Suppose *a friend of mine* has a live (don't laugh) Cat Stevens concert (and the music sounds incredible) and he/she wants to burn just the audio for listening in the car. Suppose that this friend only has a computer with a DVDRW and CDRW drive. How would one go about doing it? Any software recommendations? BTW *a friend of mine* = me |
This never lets me down:
http://www.aoamedia.com/dvd_ripper.htm Easy to use and it'll rip video segments from DVD as well as just audio. Wish your friend luck from me, Betsy! ;) |
Once I rip the DVD, I use iSofter DVD to MP3 http://www.isofter.com/ (I love it, but I did have to pay for the software though so you might look into other options.)

Remember -- I sit in the trailer with the other *special* kids when I take my classes.
I put the DVD in the DVD drive...use the magic software...and then burn it to my harddrive? (God help me...I don't know how to *rip* unless it's Home Ec class and we are sewing.) |
*gigglement*
I should have mentioned the AOA software is only free for 30 days or whatever. |
Hey Sahara, old buddy, old pal, old friend!
I did read the small print and saw the 30 days thing. I downloaded it and this will be my weekend project...provided my family learns how to feed themselves and leaves me alone! Thanks for all your help. With this little project and the screen caps. (You're a pal!) ...and before I forget....good luck with all the end-of-the-year Exams! http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x...ls/friends.jpg |
Hey, don't be ashamed of Cat Stevens- Peace Train makes me bawl! Also, he has a very cute newer song that he wrote for his son called "A is for Allah". I think its on youtube.
