It's pretty unlikely that a cassette (or these days, a CD-R) was made from the soundboard mix of every show the band ever played. It's a question of number & point; the number is too high, & what's the point? Think of how many people have passed through the Fleetwood Mac turnstiles over the years as cast & crew.
If you look at the dates of the known soundboards, you see interesting patterns. I don't know whether these patterns are representative of most rock bands or whether Fleetwood Mac just happened to do things this way. The soundboard tapes tend to cluster around specific weeks -- short stretches -- within a tour. Take the 1977 soundboards, for example: April & late May. Or the 1980 soundboards: mid-March & August. Or the 1982 soundboards: all in early to mid-October. Exceptions might consist of shows taped in the traditional way for radio or home video, or big noteworthy shows (like the US Festival).
I doubt anyone in the band has kept track of these tapes. If anything, I'd say it's more likely that former crew might have stashes of them. I don't think most of the band would have been interested in them at the time (although the desire to hear old performances might kickstart their nostalgia today).
I've often thought we should send some performance recordings to members of the band, in the spirit of "Remember this?" We'd see whether they had any interest in revisiting this part of their past, which might have sparked a desire to market these tapes in some fashion.
