as some of you know i lost my dog unexpectadly last july
well say hello to my baby spanky mclovin~
he is 6 months old w/ the coolest sky blue eyes & i love him!!!~

Awwww . . . sorry to hear of the loss of your dog last summer. But your new baby is adorable!

I don't think I've ever seen a Dachsund w/ blue eyes, he's gorgeous! :p

Dachsunds are my favorite dog EVER!!!! I'm getting one sometimes this year a red puppy too! It's going to be a boy, and I'm going to name him Mongo, from the Character Mongo from Blazing Saddles!:lol:

thanx to everyone for the well wishes & congrats~ my life has been missing a dog, i have had at least one in my life all of my life~
he is a double dapple mini- dacshund~ & yes he has lindsey eyes~ he has totally fit into out family being the biggest baby cuddle bed dog~ he only has had a few accidents as weiner's often do, but other than that he is 200% cute~
my hubby grew up w/ weiner's & when we got together he bought me one, i was 19 & she lived for 12 years~ my last sweetie may she rest in peace, we have come to the conclusion, that she was unfortunately inbred & that is what led to her what we think was a stroke & paralization & subsequent early death~ i think about her everyday & i will plant flowers on her grave this spring~ i have to bitch & say she was AKC & i thought they kept up on dogs not being inbred, but they don't, they don't check, so just a little tidbit~
& yes davidmn dacshund are my absolute favorite dogs too~ they have an attitude all their own & are so special beyond words~ this is my first boy dog, & he is a DOLL!!!~
