Anyone going to see Tom Petty?
 

We got tickets, not the best seats, but under cover. I'm too old for lawn seats. We waited too long last year, thinking we could get 'em at the door. And I recall one of the local deejays saying.. "what? didn't you think it would sell out?" My son went last year and said it was a great show. So, I'm looking forward to seeing Tom Petty, for the first time.

6th row!!! I'm so jealous. did you opt for one of the really expensive seat packages? There are so few people I'd pay that for. Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, The Who. Tom Petty should be a good show.

I'm trying to use some of my contacts to get good seats to his Pittsburgh show. I'm so jacked I missed him the last time he was here, and I refuse to miss him again. Especially now that he's touring with Steve Winwood. Guh!

I'm planning on going but I'm not sure which show I'm going to. The show here in San Francisco is some big festival show and I'm not too excited about that idea. I'm hoping another date gets added.

I'm going to the KC show. 15th row. It's going to seem like forever until July.

I'm going to have to brush up on my Steve Winwood. Valerieeee, call on me......god I feel soooo old! I used to love that song, many years ago.:laugh:

nope, I didnt go for any of the special packages. I am a member of the fanclub though so I was able to use the presale (and I never have good luck with them usually!)

I have 11th row center for the Pittsburgh show! I can't wait! I haven't seen them in years and I am going through withdrawl. I was so disappointed two years ago when I couldn't get seats.

i'll go to the Tampa show. NEVER seen Petty before! I'd like to get within the first 10 rows though...so I'll be checking eBay. If I dont find anything...meh...not a big deal.

We're going to the July 2nd show in Chicago. The first time I had been to the United Centre was for the two Springsteen shows - its a really good venue. So I'm looking forward to it.
