I was just gonna say . . . .

Alice & Sam dated a bit. As I recall, she was always trying to get Sam to propose to her. I don't remember the butcher's proposing to (or marrying) the live-in housekeeper. I do remember that Alice's favorite cuts of beef were ground round & rump roast. Also, Sam kept his metal counter VERY clean, yet he never seems to have hired any help in the store (except for Peter).

The Brady household switched to more chicken & fish in recent years, leaving Sam confused & hurt.

Sad to see him pass, but he did have a long life, even after that episode where Bobby & Cousin Oliver locked him in the freezer for being a spy after they did some snooping. But alas, this was a criminal act at the time, in those sad, Brady-esque decades before the Patriot Act.:angel:
