Demo Request "thats alright" and "gypsy"
 

Ok so I used to have quite a few different demo versions of "Thats Alright" ('coffee plant demo' and later extended full version) and a few versions of "Gypsy". I had to format my computer and lost all of them. Can anyone help me out? Id love all of the 'coffee plant' demos if anyone has them! Oh, and "The Witch" is a fav of mine that I also lost. Much love to anyone who can help!

Do you happen to have them in any other format? They arent playing in winamp.

I'm not trying to be hypocritical because I also post on Seven Wonders, but don't you all think its just marvelous how people from the other board start posting here asking for demo's and what not as soon as these forums shut down over there?

That last one's of my favorites. I can (and have) spent an hour singing along to their oh oh oh oh oh uh uh uh uh uhs. Cool to hear Lindsey vocalizing what he'd later lay down on the backing tracks, too.

If there is a site that there are people willing to give/get for free, why not? :shrug:

I think it's fine, it's nice this stuff can be shared here, although I'd hope that the newbies' contributions won't just be demo requests since there's also plenty of nice discussions going on in these forums too.

Same. I particularly love when Stevie goes "I need to hear more of Lindsey, what he's doing" and he gets louder just as he's falsetto-ing "aaa-aaa-aaa-aah!" Also a fan of his "bum bum bum BUM". I'm sane, I promise.

My coming here happened to coincide with those forums being shut, which also happen to coincide with me having to format my computer. Im well aware of all the wonderful conversations happening here, as I actually looked around this board long before I ever joined the other one.

Actually I do think its marvelous, though Im sure you werent asking my opinion. I think it fosters community in a way that only certain people having access to certain things doesnt. They basically stepped out of the way and said, "Ok Ledgies, you guys can be the premiere Nicks/Mac board on these here intarwebz." Im excited to be a part of that community. And yes, my first post was a demo request. Oh well. :thumbsup:
