I love sharing photos. Very few of my friends are Mac/Stevie fans and most could care less about stuff like this. So it's nice to be able to do something w them that might brighen someone's day. I know I love looking at photos. Here's some live ones. I tried to get all band members fairly.

Hey dnightshade...

Did John break his foot sometime during TUSK? He looks like he's wearing an orthopedic (sp) shoe/boot.

Wow, that's the first time I've noticed the boot in pictures from this session. I don't recall ever reading anything about it, but it is quite obviously there, huh?! I wonder what he did now, too. :confused:

That last one looks like a Bowl shot from the last night. I like more photos like that of the last month on the tour. A few years ago, a guy was eBaying a whole CD-R of shots from Dallas. I should have bought it!

That shot of Stevie in a beret, up one post, looks as if it could be from 1978 Penguin Summer Safari.

What's the story on that, David? post-Rumours tour, pre-Tusk tour? I've seen those beret pictures circulating for years and always wondered about them because they looked to be a 1-time-only type deal - same lighting, coloring, etc.

She's so cute in a beret -- with her little peekaboo hair peekabooing! There was beret-wearing in 1977, 1978 & 1979, but as far as I know, no onstage beret since then. Unless I've just forgotten .... :sorry:

Do you mean why the 1978 tour? I don't know. I think Mick said it was to get some energy for the new recording sessions. It was probably a little bit of that & a lot of "$$$$$"
I guess since there were so many shows in California in 1977 (probably about ten), they decided not to "oversaturate the market," as the suits call it. They should have played Dodger Stadium out here, or Jack Murphy Stadium. They were going to go to Russia at the same time, but when that fell through for political reasons, that might have been when they decided to tour the home country.
