All still alive, aren't they? and healthy?
I was reading the " Lindsey and Mick: Shorn for the 1978 Tour " thread and then I thought that Mick would be very very sad if any of his (current or former) partners passed away some day. I didn't mention this in my reply cause most of us don't like to talk about death but.. now my point is .. all Fleetwood Mac members are alive and healthy, aren't they?
And it's a good surprise to know that Jeremy, Danny or Peter are in good health, in spite of their crazy years with drugs and other excesses (not to mention Stevie or John).. I read few years ago that Danny was doing well, he got short hair, clean, etc.. I hope he is mentally health, too. It is not weird to find bad news about people from that generation that had a bad end (check the story of Rolling Stones, Metallica, Led Zeppelin, Doors, Mammas & Pappas, and remember Janis, Hendrix, etc, etc, etc...) I hope every Fleetwood Mac member is healthy, all them are in their 50s or more, and it's hard to keep a good health after a rock life. Does anyone know how (the three) Bob, (the two) Dave, Jeremy and all members are doing ?? |
When you think of other rock bands, with 16 different members, it is a minor miracle that they are all alive.
Stevie really made me laugh when she commented that when their friends die that Lindsey will be the first one she calls. "Well, thanks babe. That's something to look forward to!" It's like she's already made plans to outlive all of their friends. Of course, when that interview was given, Warren Zevon may have been heavily on her mind. Michele |
It's kind of morbid to think about, but I wonder which Fleetwood Mac member will depart first.

^^ That is kind of morbid... ;)
I do think it's a miracle that Stevie in particular is alive and fabulous after everything she went through / put herself through. Lindsey too, given what happened to his brother and father (?) Long live the Mac! :) |

Well, all actual members are still alive, but we've lost some who were in the band's "inner circle" at times:
Doug Graves (engineer on Heroes Are Hard To Find and 2nd keyboardist on 1974 tour) Bob Hughes (producer on Heroes Are Hard To Find) Judy Wong |

I don't believe in torture (or waterboarding, which some refuse to define as torture), but I would be opening to forcing Biddy to divulge Mick's real age. Michele |
It is morbid to think about, but my husband had a heart attack @ the age of 48 (clogged artery) & with their history of living in the fast lane, anything is possible. This is why I try to catch them on tour (solo here lately) whenever I can because you never know if it might be their last tour.
