The weight of Data on a Hard Drive

Someone today asked me this "Does a Hard Drive that is full of data weigh any more than a Hard Disk that has no Data on it?"
Of course as I totally under the concept, I had to realise that this person thought they were asking a perfectly reasonable question.
Now trying my hardest not to laugh in their face I quickly said "No". Because No is the correct answer.

Got me thinking though. All of the Data on all of the computers in the whole wide world and even all the data on the internet weighs absolutely nothing, Zero grams. not a thing.

Its an expensive commodity when were all paying roughly £20 a month for Data from the Internet.

Kinda reminds me of the question: Which weighs more, a ton of feathers or a ton of bricks?
