How would you feel with a new like this??
 

Ok, I now there has been a thread about the Oracle show pics, and frankly I hadn't cheked it, so I didn't link the thread title with the Oracle software, or Openworld event..

I have changed job 5 months ago, now I'm the Support and Operations manager (IT) at the peruvian branch of BRINKS INC., so I have lot of touch with software providers. I have just returned from lunch with the Oracle Peru manager, my boss introduced us, we talked about business, etc..

So this lady said.. Carlos next year you are invited to the Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco, it's a huge event, very interesting, etc etc.. And there are very nice shows, too. And the other Oracle guy said. Yes, the last one has been 2 weeks ago, you should have assisted, we are sorry we didn't call you on time, bla blah.. ..and this year the show was with Billy Joel, Lenny Kravitz and Stevie Nicks, with the drums guy, Fleetwood...
You may imagine the expression in my face, my boss started to laugh a lot while watching me.. , since he knows how big fan I am of Fleetwood Mac..

OMG!! IF I had known Stevie was going to be there.. and if I had kown Oracle people wanted to invite me.. :eek::shocked:

I still feel like in shock. I immediately opened the Oracle pics thread, watch the pictures and videos.. and... and fell like I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE!!! I SHOULD HAVE BEEN THERE!!!

That is so sad!!!!!! Oh my gosh, I would have died if that happened, it's kind of like almost winning the lottery!! I almost felt the same way when I heard how easy it was to get tickets to go to the event. I was scouring the website for months trying to figure out a way to go, and it turns out people were selling the tix for $85? Go figure:]
