Malibu fires

Just saw on the news that several homes have been burned to the ground in Malibu. I don't know if any Ledgies live out there, but if so, i hope everyone is safe.

I bet it was set by people, either on purpose or accidentally. The Santa Ana was very weak this time around. We barely felt it in the Santa Ana Canyon! And a friend of mine traveling over the Grapevine barely felt it.

And now the Santa Anas have picked up AGAIN! It's howling a fierce bitch here in the canyon, & the poplars are blowing over backward.

But as a friend of mine once explained to me in the newspaper biz, "It doesn't matter whether you bend over forward or backward -- you're screwed either way."
