Please help me with direction

Not the avatar, but how do I post a picture that will always come up when you read a page posted by me? I figured out how to post an avatar but the rest is a mystery to me.

Click USER CP in the top menu bar. The Control Panel box will appear at the left.
Click EDIT SIGNATURE. The Edit Signature & the Signature Picture windows will appear.
Upload your desired signature picture to a Web page (Option 1) or use the Penguin's hosting feature (Option 2). If you use Option 1, enter the URL of the Web page in the Option 1 dialog box. If you use Option 2, click the BROWSE button to navigate to the location of your signature picture. The File Upload dialog box will appear. Select the picture file & then click OPEN.
Click the SAVE SIGNATURE button.
Close the Control Panel by clicking the link back to the Ledge home page at the top of the page.

David I thank you for your help but it did not work. I tried it multiple times and it either said the file was too large or it says,"There are no subscribed threads to display in this folder for this time period." The file isn't too large. These are regular pictures that post just fine on any other website. Any other tips?
Once I posted I see it worked! There's my pumpkin! I hope it shows up in all my postings!!!
