Fleetwood Mac LIVE cover Q & A.

So, in another thread, I saw that people were unsure how the cover of the album was shot, I decided I'd ask the photographer!

Here's his response to the question:

"Hi Liam,

It is one photograph. I used a flash on the camera which froze the figures but I also had a long exposure which blurred the audience and around the edges of the band. The shot was planned and I went on stage as the band was taking their bows. I am not sure where the photograph was taken. It was in the south somewhere.

Thanks for your inquiry,

Chris"

Then why are Lindsey and Stevie facing one direction and the rest of the band the other? It's not nice to take a final bow with your back to the audience.

Maybe it was one of those "in the round" auditoriums? I've been to a concert that the audience sat all the way around and the singer had to go from one side of the stage to the other.

Sometimes I'm not sure if Chris is facing same direction of Mick& John, or Stevie & Lindsey:confused:

And sometimes I'm not sure which one is Stevie and which is Christine

Chris is dressed in a rather Stevie-ish way. Michele

Which she did a lot on the Rumours and Tusk tours.

I can just always tell it's Stevie because of her bracelets.

And Stevie is standing in her normal position on the stage. That's where she usually is when they line up on stage. Michele

Fm Live

In the 1970's and 1980's it was common to have fans in the seats behind the stage.

No, up close you can see Stevie's arms in front of her. Her head seems to be turned though.

I always assumed it was more or less after the bow. like, the bows are over and Stevie and Lindsey are preparing to exit the stage while the rest are giving a few extra bows and Stevie and Lindsey are having a good chuckle. I do love this picture though.
