Stevie contributes vocals on Vanessa Carlton album track

Don't know if this has been posted on here, but I saw this online this morning as I looked at the list of future releases on newburycomics.com website:

About Vanessa Carlton:

Hip-hop producer/entrepreneur Irv Gotti played a strong role in Carlton’s unlikely leap to The Inc. Records, becoming his first new signing since inking a deal with Universal Motown Records. Although he and Carlton seemed cut from vastly different cloth — in light of his legendary string of urban successes for Ashanti, Ja Rule, DMX, Jay Z and others — the union proved solid.

"He was so positive and spontaneous," says Carlton. "I began to realize we were alike in a lot of ways. Along with his rare passion and vision, he has a finely tuned ear which made me believe he could guide any type of musical project."

Vanessa’s piano driven melodies remain as complex and musical as ever. Heroes & Thieves unfolds like a storybook, delivering chapters filled with eccentric and beautiful arrangements.

Did you know:

Vanessa is a 3-time Grammy® Nominee
("A Thousand Miles" from Be Not Nobody)

She has sold well over 4 million units worldwide
on her last two albums (Be Not Nobody & Harmonium)

Vanessa’s mentor, legendary Stevie Nicks,
contributes her vocals to "The One" on Heroes & Thieves

They already talked about this during that show Sparky went to in LA, but it's nice to get some confirmation.

Looking forward to that one!

Whats even moore amusing is Venessas "Im trying to pose and be Stevie Nicks in this publicity photo" in that link:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::o
