Yes Betsy It's true. Stevie is taping Soundstage that day (with friends) and I just found out that Citibank AAdvantage cards was gave out 25 complimentary tickets to the taping to cardholders. Wah! Couldn't have gone anyway but would have liked to have at least been notified as I have a Citibank AAdvantage card and signed up with them for email notification of events and everything else. No e-mail or anything on this one. I just happened to log on to see what was up with Private Pass ticketing. What a shock!

Here is the Citibank link in case anyone is interested and they happen to release more tickets.

VERY interesting!! And kinda makes sense with the random date in Chicago... Either a warm-up, or when in Chicago... May as well make some cashola!

Jesus! That's awesome... Now this would be the opportunity to release a dvd of a live show... Very cool!

OMG. Breathe...

I need to see a setlist first before I can get really excited.

Excuse my ignorance, but isn't that why you tape a Soundstage show, for a dvd release?

I don't really know actually. It's possible... I'm not sure if all soundstage performances end up on dvd... I know they are initially taped to be shown on PBS.

Right. Well either way, it's a high quality new concert. Long overdue.

Did you read the ebay ad? Sounds as if the seller copped two of those Citibank complimentary tickets. I'd be very careful. Complimentary means free. The studio may want the "male and female" from the guest list to actually show up with the Citibank AAdvantage card in hand along with picture I.D. I see someone bid already so maybe I'm wrong.

I just remember that when tickets for the Orchestra Pit went on sale for Jack's 2nd show here in L.A. in early August someone from Colorado tried to sell two Pit tickets on Ebay for $2,000 before they even went on sale to anyone. He pulled the ad within two days though because only CA residents could buy those Pit tickets. I think that sale was an "anticpatory" sale and he found out after the fact that non-residents couldn't get them. It was going to be will call only but they changed their minds and ended up mailing them.

Be curious to see what Nicksfix says about it. Let's do some research folks.

You know I was thinking the same thing. ;) Somehow, with the way they've been bitching at each other in the press lately I don't see it happening.

As long as it's not going to be Don Henley on Leather and Lace. :distress: Then again, I don't want Lindsey Buckingham on Landslide either.

An acoustic Gypsy would be nice.

Have you ever heard the acoustic version of Gypsy from the 2000 AHI show?

But yeah, you win with your suggestions. Damnit.

Anyone remember when Lindsey recorded his show... and when the dvd was released? Wasn't it like a year and a half after the fact, or more?
