The Arizona Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame is presenting its 2007 Induction Ceremony on September 23, 2007 - 5 PM at the Dodge Theatre in Phoenix, Arizona. Local legend Pat McMahon will be this year's Master of Ceremonies. AMEHOF is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to honoring those with roots in Arizona who have made significant cultural contributions. The event includes live appearances, performances, video tributes and a Rock Star Gallery auction of rock memorabilia to benefit AMEHOF. The event will feature many special guests.

she's in amazing company. I'm sure she'll be sad that her dad won't be there to see it, but I know she's very excited. she always seemed to really have a side of her that longed for recognition and approval and I think this will mean a lot to her. congrats bb! now if only the Rock and Roll HOF can get their **** together and get her in there!

Maybe she can slip Speilberg a copy of her Rhiannon screenplay (if they both attend that is). LOL.

Hall of fame celebration
The Arizona Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame will celebrate a second strong class of inductees today. Musical acts Linda Ronstadt, Stevie Nicks, Buck Owens, Rex Allen, the Tubes and filmmaker Steven Spielberg head up those to be inducted. Those scheduled to perform are the Tubes (whose original lineup will reunite after 20 years); Jerry Riopelle, whose local New Year's Eve shows from 1975 to 1990 were legendary; Sanford Clark, whose 1956 song The Fool is recognized as the first national pop hit to come out of Phoenix; and the Herndon Brothers Band, who have held court in Scottsdale for decades. Organizers were unsure at press time whether Ronstadt, Nicks or Spielberg would attend the ceremony.

congrats to stevie. i wonder if she will ever be inducted into the rock in roll hall of fame. i know she is there with fleetwood mac.
