Stand Back 1983 Performances

Does anyone have some rare 1983 performances of "Stand Back"?

The only online versions I know of are Solid Gold, SNL, Largo, US Festival with overdubs, and Red Rocks. I'm sure you've seen all of those.

So, do you want me to post some boots of it?

My favorite (or one of my favorites) is this one from October, Los Angeles:

A lot of people don't know or remember that in 1983 Liberty, the drummer, did not play the basic beat. That was a drum machine. So the song started with just the drum machine going & then Bobbye Hall started hitting the congas & that was the stage until the rest of the guys entered. But Liberty is playing along to a drum machine, punctuating it with more human, syncopated riffs similar to a hemiola (like trompe l'oeil, only for the ear -- laying a triple against a duple).

with these 2 being the best, imo, performances of Stand Back during the entire 1980s.

Except for the Brad Jeffries parts. I seriously start cracking up every time I watch it.

lol. I know. tbh, the Solid Gold "dance" is forgivable because of how utterly hawt Stevie is...I never even pay attention to Bradster.

the Stevie hair fluff @ 3:50!!! love it.

Yes, because it really needed more fluff.

**** cowbells. what songs really need is more Stevie hair fluff.

You know what Jason- I swear that hair fluff move was something that was just *done* in the '80s. I remember doing that frequently- :o I'm sure I didn't look nearly as fabulous as when Stevie did it (but I'm sure I thought I did).

Thank you very much!:] I would love an MP3 of the Solid Gold version as well as the one in Largo. If anyone could help...

I'll post the Largo one later.

i remember seeing the saturday night live when they aired a repeat early one morning a long time ago. but i don't remember seeing it the first time it aired on tv.

I wish someone had 2-

Bristol Rhode Island 1983 - I had an awful version on CD which has since been destroyed- THE PERFORMANCE WAS BRILLIANT

and Oklahoma City OK- I have it on cassette tape- Stevie is coked out of her mind- the performance is great though.
