Is Timbaland the next Jimmy Iovine?
 

Jimmy Iovine was such a revolutionary producer for his time, and he continues to oversee artists at his position of founder of Interscope Records. Do you all think Timbaland is the next Jimmy Iovine (if you know anything about Timbaland that is) and do you think Stevie should work with Tim if she does a new album?

I do agree that Timbaland is the next Jimmy, but to Stevie working with him, abso****inlutely NOT.

... and I want Rupert Hine to produce her again. It could be the album of her career if left in his hands.

I don't think of Timbaland as the next Iovine(?), though Timbaland is a genius. I do think Stevie should definately work with him either as a solo artist or as a member of the Mac -- Timba wants to work with more rock outfits (the rock tracks on the exhilarating Shock Value SOUND superb).

I think Glen Ballard (jagged little pill, and soon to be annie lennox's new album) would be a very interesting match with stevie to be the producer of her next album.
