I went to sevenwonders.net today and saw this posted in the place of the website:

To all members ~

Due to some personal circumstances, Seven Wonders has been taken offline for an undetermined length of time. We will hopefully return sometime in the fall.

i am so tired of seeing this stuff, it's not even funny. this isn't the 7 wonders info desk, and there are already 2 threads with 7+ pages of this bullcrap. i guess it's not against the rules to post it, but it sure as hell is not the way to make friends around here.

if you people miss it so bad, why doesn't someone just pony up so you can all go hang out together again and reminisce or talk **** about your good ol' days?

perhaps the person who purchases the ledge can create a forum dedicated to those who tragically lost their homes during the unfortunate ban heard round the world of double oh seven.

It is also kind of interesting how annoyed people get about any talk of Seven Members. :shrug: I certainly don't read threads I have no interest in. (like chapstick or poetry..or whatever..) Also interesting is when the Ledge is down, many people from the Ledge would go to Seven Members to post. :shrug: (yea a few others went elsewhere) I have posted on both boards but could care less about the SW drama. I find myself annoyed at several of the new members who have joined here ONLY because they said openly they would never post on the Ledge. Other than that, I am not getting my panties in a twist when people talk about what they want to in chitchat. I find most of the topics in this forum ridiculous but I dont find it necessary to say that in every thread. :sorry: It is also kind of hard for new members to make friends here in general..that has always been the vibe and tone of this board. Nothing changes. :distress:

and those that dislike the threads have posted upwards of 9, 10, 15, 20 times in those same threads..one can just imagine view numbers! :lol:

Three current 7wonders threads on the Ledge. Not including the original, 90 million page long one from when the mass bannings actually happened. Get real.

Why would we want to talk to people who only want to bitch and whine about their last board experience? It sure doesn't give us the impression that you want to be a part of this place. Excuse us for not initiating the group hug sequence upon everyone's arrival.
