An Update On My Band...Part 1

So, for those of you who are interested, I thought I'd give you a little update on my band. As you know we only have gone to the studio once, and we laid down a demo of Carrie.

Today, our principle players are coming over and we're going to work on Carrie, a song called "Tired" and another one, called "Inspiration" which is of course about my musical inspiration, Stevie!!! We have a new singer and we just need to loosen her up, she is rather nervous, but very good.

Hopefully sometime before school starts (AUG 13) we will go back to the studio and get those tracks recorded. So, a lot of good stuff is happening, as always, and I continue to write new songs. And I'll keep you all posted.

Hope Everyone Is Well,
Ethan

Any demo's?

Yeah, a really rough one, i'll PM you a link ok? And I'll warn you, the levels were WAY low, so you will most certainly have to crank up the volume.

No problem.

Ok, just thought I'd pop in with another short update on today's get together. We worked on FOUR songs and will be heading back to the studio when we get back in town. They sound amazing, and I am really excited about them.

Our Song List
1. Carrie
2. Tired
3. Inspiration
4. The Other Side of Midnight

Can you post the lyrics to The Other Side of Midnight?

I actually don't have them with me at the moment becuase our singer is making a copy of it. Do you have a question or something about them?

that's fantastic!

which studio have you been using in louisville? (or surrounding louisville?) I have a couple of friends who work at a few around that area.

Thank you for your interest in my music Michelle  I love it.

Actually, the guy who plays bass for us and does amazing harmonies has a recording studio at his house. We went to it once, and he has since re-vamped it and made it even nice he says. So, yeah, I can't wait to record and play my songs.

Much Love,
Ethan

P.S I am heading out of town for a choir retreat tomorrow at 10 am, so this might be my last post until then, so I just wanted to say, SEE YA, And I'll Miss Ya!!

I was just curious to see the lyrics. I like the name of the song.

Thank you. When I get back into town I'll type them up for you.

Did you post YouTubes of you playing some Mac songs? If so, can you provide the link? TIA

Look forward to hearing the completed demos!!
Hope you are having an awesome weekend, hot, isn't it???

Very much so.

Don't forget my DVD one day, I would still love to sing along to your playing :)
