Stevie Nicks at the Ca midstate fair

Well as many of you know lastnight I went to see Stevie Nicks at the California Midstate Fair. It was an incredible experience one I'll never forget. Words arent quiet enough tio describe everyhting but I'll do my best Ok Let me start off by saying I went back stage during the soundcheck to give Stevie my drawing but Stevie wasnt there for the sound check but Waddy Wacthel was there and so were the backupp singers...The security guard let me back there but some asshole kicked me out but I got further than most I was a step closer to meeting Stevie Nicks!!!!!! So How could I complain about anything. I missed the opening act I was at the other end of the fair listening to Joan Jett & The Blackhearts on the free stage-she kicked ass. So to me she was my opening act lol I got close to Joan Jett and got a good picture of her. When she ended it was time for me to go to the other stage to see Stevie Nicks... I ran into a couple people I knew along the way and I showed them my drawing they all thought it was beautiful...So when I got to the grandstand which was the stage Stevie was performing at it was empty. The stage was empty not the audience. So I waited and met up with people who I met in line to get the tickets and showed them my beautiful drawing. They liked it and were so happy to see me. SOme of them didnt get front row but were happy for me. I waved out to Waddy Watchel and called out to him before the song he hearsd saw me and smiled. For those of you who may not know Waddy Wachell is Stevies guitarist... One of Stevies backup singers smiled at me and I showed her my drawing. It was the short blond backup singer.... So When Stevie came on she sang Stand Back and I had a whole lotta fun I was able to enjoy it this time. I saw her wear her Stand Back shawl which I believe I took a picture of...Then sang Enchanted, I have the video of that and then she sang If Anyone Falls in Love which seriously has to be my favorite song she sings it soooo beautifully. I was dancing and recording all at the same timelol thats why in a lot of my videos Stevie comes in the picture & out lol I'm sorry about that I'm not good at keeping the camera still and dancing at the same time lmao she sang a lot of her hits which I have videos tof and I'll upload them soon but in the meantime I have pictures. She told the story behind almost all the songs and it was fun. I never knew what dreams was about:) Every song was a special moment for me she was so fun and friendly she smiled at me and looked RIGHT AT ME!!!!!! She is so beautiful:) It was like the LA show excet I was front row this time of coarse. Both shows were amazing, Stevies never been anything less which is why I love her soooo much. SHe is a good hearted person and you can tell that just by seeing her. SHe had pictures of her family and personal stuff and it is so awesome that she shares that with her fans. She ended th show with Edge of Seventeen which is when I gave the drawing to Stevie...I gave it to the security guard who put it up on stage and Stevie came later and took everything. I hope she loves my drawing:) She ended the show with Led Zeppelins Rock'nroll & Beauty & The Beast I took a picture of her singing Beauty & The Beast:) That is the second time I got really close to her and she looked right at me and smiled:) I was just so excited and happy throughout the whole show!!!!:) Well thats pretty much all I have to say:)

I went last night. I'm not very good at giving reviews but I'll say a few things. Anita or Amber could probably do a better job at a review.

Anyway, I know the suspense is killing all of you as to whether or not she changed her setlist and the answer is no. Of course not. She didn't sing FFG either and she had plenty of time to do it since she started around 8:15. She came out wearing no gloves and her black pants and then changed into a ruffley black skirt which I didn't really like. She changed into her white skirt and gloves during Eof17. She added extra talk about Dreams which I think probably Anita or Amber remember better than I do. It was something about getting back at Fleetwood Mac or something.

Other tidbits:

NO Edge walk. Security was definitely tight and they wouldn't let anyone go up to the front except for the front row which was right there anyway. There was a big barrier between the stage and the front row so there was no way Stevie could do an Edge Walk. Of course I tried going up to the front row. I figure I least have to try.

Ron Jeremy was there. He was sitting a few seats away from us. He had some girls hanging around him but nobody special. I had read on the Aerosmith message board that he had also seen Aerosmith the night before. A few people took pics with him after the show.

The fair in my opinion kinda sucked. They didn't have any livestock there yet and I always like to look at the animals. They did have a booth set up selling very yummy, expensive tropical drinks. That was a bonus.
