I remember watching this in the basement the first time it aired! I was 9 and already very familiar with Rumors. My brothers and sisters (all avid solid gold watchers) couldn't believe how different this sound was...but we all thought it was really cool.

No...John's first vocal appearance on a Fleetwood Mac song was on the "Gypsy" 45 B-side, "Cool Water".

It's one of those "public domain" songs...it's an old folk song from the late 1800s.
