Question about summer 1978 tour

Ok I have the Baton Rouge cd from that year and They do Sisters Of The Moon as a new song. I havent been able to find any other shows from that year where its done. does anyone know if that was the only show they did it at that year?

Being that since Baton Rouge was the final show of the Rumours tour, they might have just said "what the hell?" and played the new tune to give the audience something to look forward to. They'd just come off a two week break before their final five shows of the tour, so they could have either recorded the song or been rehearsing it during that break (or at soundchecks). They DIDN'T play it four nights earlier in Cleveland, but I can't find set lists for the two nights immediately prior to Baton Rouge...Birmingham & Atlanta...to see if they played it at either or both of those shows.

I love that version. It's one of my favorite live versions of SOTM:thumbsup:

No. It was also performed at the Saratoga and Buffalo '78 shows.

they also did it in philadelphia...that show was reviewed by rolling stone and the reviewer listed it as a "new" song stevie sang and also the only song of hers where she actually seemed interested in performing. the title of the article was "fleetwood clicks despite nicks." it also had a few pics from the show.

Oh ok. Thank you for that information.:)

so do I! I think it was called "Mac clicks despite Nicks." And the reviewer pasted her for singing poorly. He said the only song which she sang well was her new song--thus concluding that her poor perofrmance was due to boredom, not ineptitutde.

Would you, uh, be interested in posting any of those songs from that show as mp3s here, Dave?
