Photographers...Thank You
A big THANK YOU to all of the people who are taking and sharing their amazing photographs of this tour. They're ALL really spectacular and making following this tour, albeit virtually, so very fun!
Cheers, Dan |
I second that.
It was wonderful seeing the tour though the photos and reviews of those lucky enough to see Stevie (Forever the Goddess/Queen of Rock).  |
It really is. I want to say thanks as well.

I agree... without you guys risking your memory cards, we'd pretty much have nothing.... so thanks!

Me Too, Thanks for the awesome photos.Taking big chances with the camera
nazi's at some of this venues,I was at 7 shows on this tour, as I watched Stevie performing, at the same time the security were stopping people taking photos with any kind of cameras, and some cameras were confiscated by security right in front of me.Thanks again for the awesome Stevie shots. |
I also want to say thanks. Unfortunately, I was unable to attend any shows. So, being able to see pictures of her performing with the band have been a second best...to not being there.
Thanks so much- and all of you have taken amazing pictures!!! WOW Thanks again for sharing:xoxo: |
Amen!! *applause*

No problem. I figure if anything it's only fair to post pics online, in my mind it makes up for the annoyance of holding up your camera and possibly distracting the people around you.
However, since we're on the subject of cameras in concert, I just gotta say if you have a digital camera PLEASE put it into SILENT MODE before the concert so people around you don't have to listen to the sounds you make every time you take a picture! Drives me nuts. And don't bother using a disposable camera, they're noisy and you're pics won't be in focus, probably. Also, please don't use flash, unless you're really close the flash won't reach the performer anyway! |

Yea I agree . That darn flash,All that is,is a beacon for the security to see you.please kill it, by turning it off, or try covering it with something,This makes me laugh, people up in the nose bleed section taking pictures with their flash going off. oh on the electronic sound effects on the digital cameras drive me nuts too, especialy during BATB,also kill the color viewfinder, if posible, Thats a easy give awayfor security to hone in on you.some digital camera have a optical viewfinder, try to use it instead. |
i want to thank everyone for the pictures i love seeing them also.

regarding flash and the security
I tried to take pics with several different settings, and also with several different flash settings. the only one that would work was the "sport" setting which is basically "action" and with flash. so I DID try but they weren't turning out very good. but also-security. I was waiting for them to say ONE word because one security lady had her cell phone up snapping pics too  I wasn't going down without a fight. |
Yeah, I was going to take a digi Camera, but decided not to in the 11th hour. I regret it because there was absolutely no security check. I could have freaking brought in my video camera and filmed the whole show ......... Oh well, you live and learn.
|
Adding my thanks. We can all quibble over the setlist but it is undeniable that Stevie is gorgeous and radiant this entire tour. Thanks for capturing this--I think we will all look back and remember this as one of Stevie's happiest tours.

Yes thanks to all that posted pics  Now if someone wants to explain to me how to get an unblurry pic without using flash on a digital camera at a concert then please tell me...... I've tried and tried and it just doesn't work!! :distress: I think Paula mentioned that she didn't use flash...... maybe it depends on the camera?? But seriously I've tried and have never had success except for one Mac show with a huge Fuji that we snuck in..... unfortunately I don't have that camera anymore........ I also got some iffy shots of LB at his show without flash but other than that I'm an auto girl!! ha ha
