HELP! Finding random t.v. show that NO ONE has seen!
Ok, it was like 80's/90's Childrens television.
Possibly CBS, very possibly PBS. There was a blonde girl named "hope" and she sang. There was a witch, and a puppet like human in costume named "urg" ALSO! I SWEAR IT IS THE BOSS FROM Mary tyler moore. Oh like ed asner? He was like in this well thing, no, he WAS the well. it was caled the well of what. no, not puff n stuff, not eurekas castle, it was like, They were in "the land of BETWIXD"? and it was called like melodys castle? ANYONE?! Aaaaarrggggggggg!!!! Seriously, did I just have a REALLY good imagination!? |
Whoaaaa.
Yeah, plz, someone find that shizz, I have to see it.  *backs away slowly, confident that this bag of TV whores will come up with that show within a day, and thankful for such* Naturally, I was too old at the time to be of any help. Plus your story is still questionable: Ed Asner? PBS? Puppets named "Urg"? Blond girls named "Hope", who sang? Witches? C'mon... :D It all sounds very unbelievable...yet spectacularrrrr... So of course I hope someone finds it, and knows what you are talking about...and if you did imagine it, clearly we should be married. :woohoo: |

Can someone help me find info or any images at all on an early 90's kid's tv show called Happy Castle? This was a show which aired I believe in the early 90's, it could have been the disney channel but I'm not entirely sure what network on which it was broadcasted. It was about a girl named Hope who lived in the forest with her animal friends. Hope wore a white dress and had very long blonde hair. The people were dressed up in animal costumes, I recall there was arabbit and a few other characters which I can't remember. There was also a witch who lived in the castle with her evil pet. There was also "The Well of What" which was voiced by Ed Asner. I've been having a lot of difficulty locating information on websites or any photos in relation to this show. It was one of my absolute favourites and it seems like it never existed. If anyone has any good links please let me know. Thanks a lot :) Anyone? |
AHA!!! (not that anyone else asked:laugh: ) but today, i found this...
Happy Castle (1988-1989) (series ) Long ago, in the magic forest of Be’twixt was the home of the Happy Castle, a wondrous place of beauty, friendship and laughter. But then, the evil Gloomella took over the Happy Castle and spread her gloom to all who lived there. However, the forest creatures of Be’twixt who had not fallen under Gloomella’s spell turned to the all-seeing, all-knowing Well of What to find out how to rid the forest of Gloomella. A young girl appeared before Jimmy the Rabbit and Marcus the Lion and they called the girl, Hope. When things seemed the darkest, Hope's song book would fall open and she would sing. Happy Castle incorporated costumed people, puppets, and special effects. Cast Ed Asner....Narrator Pierre Robitaille (voices) Luc Labarre (voices) Jani Lauzon (voices) Michel Lapointe (voices) Brigitte Marchand (voices) Frank Meschkuleit (voices) Jacques Boutin (voices) I DID NOT imagine this, soooooo validating! Now, i just have to find it somewhere. I loved this show. |
