my humane society adventures
as some of you know, I volunteer for my local humane society every now and then and I got to again today. It is something I'm very passionate about and it really doesnt' seem like work at all! Everyone always asks how i can do it and manage not to bring them all home, but I don't really have to see them at the shelter. I meet the girls at Petsmart and all I have to do is play with them and get to celebrate when they go "home". anyway, i usually have some interesting stories/pictures, so I'll put them here. I know we have some animal lovers here that hopefully will appreciate them, so here we go :)
First, there was a girl volunteering today who has 41 cats at her house right now!! most of them she is fostering, but many she has for herself. 4 that she has are only 3 days old. they still had their umbilical cord and someone had put them in a box and tossed them in a dumpster  she is bottlefeeding them, so hopefully they make it...I'm concerned though :(
and now for the good stuff LOL
