STEVIE NICKS and members of her band, along with Chris Isaac and his band, celebrated Stevie's birthday at the popular RL eatery last week. Stevie was singing and the birthday carrot cake was sent over from Gibsons.

Are you cwazy? The frosting alone makes me drool. Actually, I mostly like the frosting. Also, I'll eat anything.

This is just the sort of thing that you (me) always dream you will happen upon - Stevie singing and having fun in a restaurant, and cake. And Chris Isaak. mmmm, Cake Isaak *drool*.

Okay, cake? Good. Vegetables? Good. Those two together? WTF.

I'm with you, but carrot cake doesn't taste like carrots. It tastes like sugary bread. With delicious sweet frosting.

Then why put the carrots in in the first place? :shrug:

Our carrot cake does taste like carrots. And cinnamon. It's gross.

I had lunch there last time I was in Chicago to see FM and Lindsey tape his Soundstage show.

Again, I've been haunted by La Nicks. Turns out Carrot cake is one of my all time favorite cakes....it's just soooo delicious. So moist. I love German chocolate cake also. That sour cream in the butter frosting tops it all! I'm hungry. Why couldn't I have been there to see that.
