Sweet Girl - Enchanted Version

Who else loves this song?

In my opinion, it's better than the FM version from
"The Dance".

I particularly light the ending.

Disc 3 on Enchanted is greatness!

I love it too, but appreciate both versions! :)

I know people get tired of rehashes, but I think that Sweet Girl and Twisted should have been on either TISL or SYW. I hate that some of her best 90s writing is relegated to obscurity.

I like the sound of The Dance version better, just because the demo sounds a lot like Free Fallin' by Tom Petty. But I wish they had left the ending. The ending of the FM version always makes me think of Lindsey going "it's too long Stevie... I know my new rendition of Go Insane goes on for nine minutes but without me you'd have no reunion... oh geeze, stop crying... c'mon... okay you can do Silver Springs, how's that? But I get to do Big Love alone... yeah yeah, except on Letterman. Fine!"

Love the Enchanted version... Funny thing about 3 weeks ago this was my driving song. I would always listen to it while I drove around. Its greatness!

the simple melody and composition of sweet sure are pleasing, and it's hella easy to play on the guitar, but certainly even stevie sees something ridiculous in calling herself "girl" at the ripe old age of 115? i don't think i could call it some of her best writing.

Well, 'sweet old fart' just doesn't have the same ring to it.

I love this song. I much prefer the live The Dance version over the Enchanted demo version though.

Totally. I am rewriting a few other songs also. I think she should record them. It'd be a masterpiece. :wavey:
