Whose Going to Bakersfield-June 3rd is just around the corner!

Getting psyched for more Lindsey after seeing Stevie last night at the Greek. One thing I like about Lindsey's shows, I've been to three so far on this tour, people are more respectful.

So who else is going to Bakersfield and are you ready?

If one is to use the written (or typed) English language, one might as well use it correctly.

TulsaMINI 05-22-2007 02:31 PM

When the message is understood despite the incorrect usage, correcting the grammar of others is, IMO, rude.

Everyone knew what the OP meant, correction was not necessary.

To me, improper usage of the English language is rude.

TulsaMINI 05-22-2007 02:59 PM

Rude is intentional.

Ignorant is lacking in the knowledge of what is correct. Do you find ignorance rude?

If you do, I'm afraid you will spend a lot of time being offended by ignorant people. Particularly on the internet.

Oh well.

It's easily done when posting on message boards. I know I have... if I notice it I will correct it. But I don't always notice. I certainly wouldn't be wanting to be rude and I'm sure the original poster didn't intend to be either It's just unnecessary to go from thread to thread correcting grammar IMO.

:D

You say tomato, I say tomawtoe...

You spell potato, I spell potatoe....

Ah hell....Even Dan Quayle...said "Close enough" :wavey:

It's all good...right guys???? :wavey: :wavey:

:D

So, back to the original question...

"Who's (aka Whose) going to Bakersfield or Bakersville, or where it is again, that Liddy Buck is playing???" :D
