A sweltering Stevie Nicks still managed to perform -- despite nearly being asphyxiated underneath a landslide of crushed velvet, leather and lace! Stand back!!

Stevie kicked off her summer tour in Concord, Calif. on Thursday, dressed like an intergalactic extra from "X-Men" meets a high priestess at an Alaskan seance. You see your gypsy!

If the lavishly cocooned former Fleetwood Mac songstress doesn't want to collapse on tour, she'd better stop wearing everything in her closet at once!

It's kind of sad..her hiding her hands now.

Someone posted that it was cold there that night. She took most of it off later though, at least during Edge. (I posted a link to a YouTube video of it on another thread)
I doubt she wore all that **** last night at the Greek. By wednesday here in San Diego it's going to be in the low 80's, and in the high 50's at night. So she probably won't be all bundled up for this wednesday's show. (At least I hope not)

It wasn't really cold just breezy and slightly cool I had on a very light weight short sleeve shirt and sandals and I didn't feel cold during the show maybe just a bit when I got to the top of the Pavillion afterwards which is on a hilltop and windy.I thought she was wearing the scarf to help preserve her voice:shrug: she did take it off for a few songs as I recall.

that's ****ing awesome. I think I shall move there.

Actually her hands looked beautiful...she did take her gloves off...and I was freezing my butt off...even the event staff was like "why don't you have a coat??!!"
