A Final Surgery Saga Update.. Thanks For The Support And More

Ok I would first like to thank all of you have supported me through this whole surgery thing and I am glad to say that things are going amazing.

It has been a little more than a month and I am happy to say that this Monday I will be returning back to school. Can't wait to see my friends again.

There is still some numbness/sensitivity in my shoulder area and left ab side (where they took the rib). I am a little stiff, but my posture is looking much better, and continues to improve. I am definately not 100 percent (that will take around a year) but I am feeling pretty dang good.

Also, one thing that I think I forgot to tell you all. Obviously you all know what a big Stevie/FM fan that I am, and we all told my doctors this too, just for kicks since they all liked music.

In the OR my doctor likes to have the radio on, and right when they were about to make the first incision, a FM song came on.:] I am not even kidding. When I woke up from anesthesia, EVERYONE was telling me this, so I thought this was hauntingly interesting.

Anyway, thanks for the support and all of that good stuff.

Take Care,
Ethan

Glad everything went well. Bear in mind that you may experience muscle spasms from time to time over the next year, having undergone major back surgery. Hopefully, physical therapy is being recommended. Good luck.
