Timespace Interview

Online Videos by Veoh.com

Very cool and she looks soooooo 80's LOL

For the Klonopin era, she is very lucid.

petep9000 04-23-2007 01:23 PM

Yes, a bit more lucid than other interviews I've seen from that era. Still, she doesn't blink much.

She looks pretty in lilac, that's a good color for her. The Victorians used to use violet, amethyst, lilac, grey etc as colors that could be worn for 'half-mourning'- the period after mourning when brighter colors could gradually be reintroduced back into ones wardrobe.

Not digging the rag in her hair though.

PenguinHead 04-23-2007 02:34 PM

This was Stevie in her most self-obsessed mode, taking herself way to seriously. She pretty much became a paraody of herself. "Wah, wah, wah...I'm a rich rock star and my life is so hard." Granted, it's all relative, but millions of people have suffered much greater hardships in life...and they did it without an ounce of the resources, support, acclaim and accomplishment she has.

I wish my greatest trouble in life was dealing with sequencing my greatest hits album. Sometimes it's a Bastard.

lol...I feel like shacking up with a series of rock stars, doing some coke,
dropping some kolinapin...and writing some quirky songs about it!

BlackWidow 04-23-2007 03:03 PM

That was cool..never seen that one.
She actually looked good there.

wheart 04-23-2007 04:44 PM

this is one of my favorite interviews. She is surprisingly "up" for being in the middle of the Klonopin years. I love when she's talking about Mick's book and how she would get her big red marking pencil and make notes in it. Hilarious!!

stevierocks87 04-23-2007 05:34 PM

Why does she always say this isn't a "greatest hits"- just b/c it has HAEWAFY and B&TB? Doesn't it have all her hits to that point?

marc402 04-23-2007 07:06 PM

Thanx for posting that i had never seen that one, indeed upbeat considering it was in the midst of the klonopin years, and very candid i mean you could really see the anger she had towards mick at the time, I always knew they had a fight over silver springs going on timespace (perhaps that is why the original rumours version is now on Crystal Visions) but never knew THAT was why she left the band in the early 90's.
Love her doing the english accent !!!

Musicman408 04-23-2007 07:14 PM

I guess I just haven't seen many of the klonopin interview, becasue I thought she was very dead. Could someone maybe post one where she's even more legthargic, just so I have a comparison, that would be so great.

Thank You Much,
Ethan

Thank you so much for posting this! I have never seen it, and I think it is one of my favorite interviews with her ever.

I love the " so I was like from .........MARS" cracked me up, I love the womans sence of humour.
I got a chill when she was like "dont ever mess with my family"
Shes so intense. (another reason I love her)
AND THats a good colour on her she looked really good.
Thanks again, I really enjoyed that.

Not quite. It lacks "After The Glitter Fades" and "Nightbird" -- both Top 40 singles (#32 and #33, respectively).

So with those omissions and the fact that "Beauty And The Beast" was never a single, "Has Anyone Ever Written" charted well below the Top 40 (#60), and "Whole Lotta Trouble" didn't chart at all, it wasn't a strict "greatest hits."

I'm glad WLT made it over those two. :)

Thanks for posting- I have this on VHS but the quality sucks and I haven't seen it in awhile.

Man - is she on those pills or what! No real emotion when she talks, except a little when she's mad. Her breathing even seems odd, not labored necessarily, but like deliberate or something. It's sad to see her that way, but it was a great interview. She said great things about her fans.
