Have you guys heard this? It's a very rare recording of Cyndi Lauper singing You Make Loving Fun. It was made before she was famous for one of those record companies that do knock offs of popular songs. I think she said she got paid $50 for doing it and wasn't even credited on the record.

I don't think so. It was after Blue Angel, but before she got her record deal with CBS (now Sony).

sorry chili, but it actually was before BA. she recorded YMLF right around the time that rumours was released in 1977, and BA's self-titled album wasn't released until 1980. after that, there was quite a gap before she got her record deal with CBS. :)

It sort of sounds like her, but I wouldn't know it was her if I heard it and wasn't told who it was. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed it. :thumbsup:
