I'm thinking about hitting some CA shows. It seems Bakersfield is a little under 2 hours from LA? Does that sound about right?

I share his first name (spelling and all) and it annoys me when people misspell mine...I guess I'm programmed now to catch it.

I wish Stevie would play a gazillion small theaters in CA like Lindsey has been doing.

Bakersfield is about 100 miles north of L.A. I live 50 miles east of L.A. and during FWMs last tour I actually drove up there and back the same night. It took me about two hours each way so from L.A. it should be about an hour and a half.

It may be a small theater but so is the Pit. It looks to be sectioned off from the rest of the theater from the virtual seating chart view I pulled up on the Vallitix ticketing website. Unless security is really lax, the only people getting to the stage will be in the Pit and that contains only two rows.

Still it's better than general admission. I know no one really sits after awhile anyway but I hate all the jocking that goes on for a place in front of the stage. I was at a Don Henley concert in Feb. at a Casino in Indio, Ca. (reserved seating) and people from the back were literally trying to snake under my arms and get in front of me. I don't mind if they stay in back of me when I'm at the stage but that was a bit much.

Anyway, I'm going to one of Lindsey's concerts at the HOBs in L.A. (Anaheim) and I'm kindda dreading it; standing room only. I have a Pass the Line Visa Signature sticker but probably everyone who eats there will have one too. I thought about Bakersfield but I don't want to do the drive again. So, if you don't mind the drive you probably will get a shot at great seats for the price.

Check out seating chart on vallitix's website: http://www.vallitixlive.com/seating_map_bft.asp
Give it a Go!

Luckily that's not been a problem at the shows I've been to. BUT I've been fortunate to not have "psycho security" issues like some. I was back about 5 rows from the stage and made it up to play the almighty Turner. :)

Wonders of wonders. I just bought a front row Pit ticket for Bakersfield this morning. Who'd a thunk it?

There is still at least one more left if any one is interested.

Yesterday the best I could do was front row of orchestra B1. Since the Pit looks closed off from the virtual seating chart I passed. Glad I did.

So far I've got tickets for San Diego (2nd row), Anaheim, and now Bakersfield. Hope the rest of the country is as lucky!
