Stevie At Chastain In Atlanta

So, I am thinking about going to this show with my family, but there are a few things we need to determine. There is no covered seating at this venue, and they probably don't allow umbrellas.

Also, it is uncertain how I will feel. The show is in early in June, which is only a little more than 2 months after my surgery.

I am a newer concert go-er, only seeing FM twice during SYW, and those were really my first concerts. I just want to have a great time enjoying Stevie for the first time and I want to be able to get right up to the stage.

Does have any persona dealings with this venue? Do any of you plan on attending this show? Also, does anyone know to what capacity Chris Issac is involved with the show?

Sorry for all of the questions, my family just has decisions to make.

Much Love,
Ethan

I love the venue personally, great sound, cool atmosphere.

There are some parts about it that can be annoying though. Usually all of the great seats go to season ticket holders (Fleetwood Mac's 04 show there was sold out before it went on sale to the public!). They DID release some tickets later on, but it took a couple of months.

A lot of the people there, are like I said Season Ticket holders, so you get a lot of the "oh she was in Fleetwood Mac rightt??" idiots nearby.

I've taken a poncho a couple of times to Chastain, in case of rain...from my understanding this tour is a "coheadline" show with Chris Isaak. It will likely be similar to the Stevie/Don Henley shows in 05, except with Chris instead. Stevie will likely perform last, and Chris will join her in her set for a few tunes as well, she may even pop in during his set too.

The good thing about Chastain is it's in a nice area of town, they have good but overpriced food, and allow you to bring in your own food if you want normally. Stevie shows are normally "no table" shows, simply because for the bigger rock artists they take out the tables..

Security is pretty lax as well, most security there are volunteer.

Ok, I think my family is having a slight change of plans. It's looking like the Youngstown Ohio date is a non Issac date, and it gives me more time to recover. Does anyone know anything about the venue and all of that?

I was Originally planning on going to the 6/4 show, but the seats are TERRIBLE! On Ticketmaster as SOON as they went onsale the closest tickets were halfway back the furthest back section!! Hope they release some more tix! I'll try for 6/5 I guess.....

this was my plan too. but the tix are getting worse and worse, and the second show has yet to show up on ticketmaster. I am also scared the second show will be cancelled. Don't know what to do!

Actually the seats are getting better but not by much. I'm not worried about tickets, cause when they came in '04 I was able to pull up 10th or 12th row for a friend a couple of weeks before the show.
Last week TM did have the June 5th show up and tickets are supposed to go on sale tomorrow but not its not there.
I wouldn't sweat the ticket situation.

I think the June 5th show is canceled. I think they should too. She needs a break. She's got a three night stand coming...Camden, AC, amd Boston:)

Yeah, they still don't have Youngstown on there, and tickets go on sale in 8 days.:distress:

Sure do! My brother and I saw Stevie there in 2001 on the Shangri La tour...we were on the front row of the orchestra...right outside of "the pit" and in my opinion they were some of the best seats ever. Try for that, unless you wanna be more up close and personal.

I liked Chastain. I thought it was a comfy, laid back venue. The food was good too.

That's awesome. Do you know about the Chevy Center in Ohio?

Just a heads up, sorry it took so long but I've been at work.

I called TM and according to them the 6/5 tix go on sale tomorrow at 10AM but by phone only...

TwistedGypsy 04-14-2007 01:15 AM

Just a heads up, I was looking through the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and there was an ad for the June 5 show. It said a presale was available this upcoming week for American Express card holders and general sales started NEXT Saturday

Just to add to the confusion,

:wavey: Adam :wavey:
