Yankees and Andy Pettitte got rained out today. :distress:

Giants showed yesterday that their pitching, defense, and offense totally suck. Other than that, it's gonna be a great year.

yeah. the bosox bit it hard yesterday. i watched the game from a treadmill at the gym, gesturing wildly and yelling a bit. i'm still mourning the loss of trot, and losing the first game effed my whole day up. gah!

on the bright side, i put up my favorite bulletin board in my classroom this week. it's completely garish. the kids love it. we track the AL East through the end of the school year, and they always stop back after the summer to give me **** about the standings.

early prediction: we get going in june and finish the summer trailing Those Who We Do Not Refer To By Name by only a few games. i think it'll take a while for the new lineup to gel, but we definitely have a chance.

My Mets are off to a good start, 2-0 and counting. Pitching still distresses me a little, but the defense is sparkling already.

I think Reyes is going to be one of the top 5 this year. He brings not only awesome talent to the game, but you can tell he loves every minute he's out on the field. His smile is electric.

I can't wait to be at the home opener Monday. :blob2:

The Cubs had great pitching from Ted Lilly tonight and beat the Reds 4-1 in the snow.

However the Texas Rangers lost yet again due to lousy pitching - the offense is there but the pitching is suspect. When are Ranger pitchers gonna learn to walk Vladimir Guerrero? He has feasted on Rangers pitching.

I'm surprise the Pirates swept the Astros in Houston, I didnt see that coming but I sure did enjoy it.

Twins won 7-2. 3-0. Baltimore is TERRIBLE!

No, the Twins are just too good is all.

Here is my sweetie nephew...ready for the biggame! Go Padres!!!

So cute, he's gonna be a lady killer when he's grown up.:)
