Apparently you can now buy CV on iTunes
I just looked and the option to buy is there ..
|
and its a new stand back...will someone buy this and post an mp3 of stand back???
|
I was wondering about that today... I've never bought from itunes and was wondering if at the strike of midnight on Tuesday it becomes available... Guess not...
Thanks for the heads up.. I'm off to itunes. edit: Downloading now... Just to clarify, Stand Back IS a bonus LIVE track. |

Are you serious? Wouldn't that be considered "officially released" material?? |
I don't have my CD yet from the Warner store. I preordered weeks ago
I was listening to the samples on iTunes. If Anyone Falls and Rooms on Fire sound like the remixes from Timespace. |
just Ituned it..
for $17.99 (included 2 of the videos w/ commentary) that took forever to download. I didn't want the videos - buying the hard copy after work - like I am going to watch on my mini nano ipod screen..
Listening to CV as I get ready for work.. good thoughts and some bad thoughts.. SPOILER.. I Can't Wait is the album version - yuck. The radio mix would have been nice.. what could have been a good rock and roll song is ruined by too many drum machines.. and Landslide.. ugh... too busy...(cool ending, though). Digging both the Rhiannon and Edge live versions.. I should call in sick... Happy Stevie Day fans.. |

I snagged the live tracks, which is all I cared about. It's a shame you can't buy the DVD by itself...

Stand Back
well, this silly dreamer was hoping for a live version of Stand Back from the Wild Heart era..:(
the version on Itunes is her current interpretation.. you know.. start with drums.. introduce prince's contribution via synthesizers... throw in some organ and guitar.. and there you have it.. "it's alright.. it's alright.." nothing mind shattering, but not bad. it's just we've all heard it a thousand times.. checked the booklet that came with the itunes download, but doesn't say where and when it was recorded. |
